Construction Optimism Quotient remains very positive for 2016
U.S. National Optimism Quotient (OQ)
The optimism quotient for 2016 is a highly optimistic 108. This is a very good signal for 2016, but is a significant drop from 2015’s record high optimism quotient of 130.
Distributors expect new equipment sales to increase or remain steady in 2016
Contractors expect to increase their new equipment purchases in 2016
Contractors and distributors agree on the projection for used equipment sales
Rental fleet sizes are expected to increase or remain steady in the coming year
