Cathy Mann Moves Into Terex Fuchs Southwestern Regional Sales Manager Position For Terex Construction Americas
SOUTHAVEN, (Miss.) U.S.A., June 26, 2014 ““ Cathy Mann has been appointed as the new Terex® Fuchs equipment Southwestern regional sales manager for Terex Construction Americas. In a territory that includes Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, Utah, Nevada, California and Hawaii, Mann now has sales and distributor development responsibilities for the complete line of Terex Fuchs material handlers, purpose-built for the lifting and reach needs of the scrap, recycling, logging and port markets. Mann has 16 years of equipment manufacturing experience in the industry.
“Cathy has worked directly with customers and distributor networks for years, and she has a deep understanding of the equipment and what machine is the best fit for a particular application,” says Martin Gonzalez, director of sales for Terex Construction Americas. “Her experience with the equipment, with distributors and with customers is a perfect fit for a territory that has been underserved by Terex Construction. She will work tirelessly to help customers be more successful with their material handling equipment needs.”
Throughout her 16-year career with Terex Construction and ASV, a Terex legacy brand, Mann has worked in a number of roles for the company. She began her career in the warranty department and then moved on to manage the company’s warehouse and inventory operations. For the past six years, Mann has served as the Distributor Administration Manager, where she worked closely with Terex regional sales managers to establish territories and provide support for new equipment distributors.
“My experience with the Terex distribution network will be a great asset as we work to expand our sales channels in the Southwestern region, so we can better support those operations working in the scrap, recycling, port and logging markets,” says Mann. “I am detail-oriented and have a deep understanding of machine specifications and capabilities. This will help in making recommendations to customers for the best Terex Fuchs material handler for their needs.”
