Vac-Con, Inc. recently announced the addition of an exciting new option to enhance its venerable two-engine design combination machine ““ a gasoline fueled auxiliary engine.
This new option can replace the soon-to-be-required Tier IV diesel engine with an intelligent and economical alternative. The Ford V-10 gasoline engine meets all horsepower requirements for all water pump options from 30 GPM to 120 GPM and up to 3000 PSI, while offering a compact and relatively light weight installation; when combined with an adequate fuel supply for a full day’s operation, it weighs no more than a comparable diesel. In addition, the engine can be modified to operate on LP, NG, CNG or LNG as required. This reliable option allows operators to choose the flexibility of two-engine design without paying premium prices for expensive Tier IV diesel engines, while being environmentally responsible in meeting all 50 state emission requirements, and has an added advantage ““ it’s almost incredibly quiet when compared to diesel power!
