KATY, Texas – Jan. 28, 2020 – LiuGong North America, a wholly-owned subsidiary of LiuGong Machinery based in Liuzhou, China, and a global leader in heavy construction equipment, exhibited two excavator and three-wheel loader models along with the first-ever LiuGong compact track loader at the 2020 World of Concrete, Feb. 4 through 7 in Las Vegas.

Excavators

The world is LiuGong’s proving ground, and like all LiuGong equipment, LiuGong excavators are designed to deliver in the toughest conditions around the globe. They are ideal for use anywhere their North American owners find themselves needing excavators that offer reliable productivity with low cost of operation and low cost of ownership, from the extreme cold of Canada to the searing heat of Mexico.

LiuGong NA displayed both a medium-size excavator and its largest excavator at the World of Concrete. Powered by a 113 hp Cummins engine, the LiuGong 915E is a medium size excavator with 35,935 lb. operating weight and 0.47 yd3 bucket capacity. With an operating weight of 105,822 lb. and 375.5 hp, the 950E is the largest excavator in the LiuGong line-up. Bucket capacities of the 950E range from 2.9 yd3 to 4.2 yd3.

Wheel Loaders

LiuGong has been a world-leading manufacturer of wheel loaders for over 60 years. Loaders on display at World of Concrete begin with the LiuGong 856H, a medium-size wheel loader, with 42,540 lb. operating weight and 4.2 yd3 capacity powered by a 215 hp Cummins Tier 4 Final engine.

In the medium-to-large wheel loader category, the 877H model at the show has a 54,013 lb. operating weight and 5.5 yd3 bucket capacity. The unit is powered by a Cummins Tier 4 Final 315 hp engine.

The 890H is the largest loader in the LiuGong line-up. It has a 68,540 lb. operating weight with 7.1 yd3 bucket capacity and is powered by a 352 hp Tier 4 Final engine.

ZF powershift transmissions, including torque converters, assure owners of maximum transfer of power for improved performance with greater fuel efficiency.

LiuGong’s new generation advanced hydraulic system enables the mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems to optimize operations, matching power to task requirements.

Z-Bar geometry positions the loader’s bucket closer to its tires to achieve higher bucket breakout forces and increase stability while transporting materials, minimizing spillage.

388B Compact Track Loader

LiuGong first announced the new 388B CTL in fall 2019. The first-ever compact track loader offered to North American equipment owners having the reliable, productive build of all LiuGong equipment lines, the unit has an 11,442-pound operating weight and 0.78 yd³ bucket capacity.

An industry-standard quick coupler design enables the machine to receive the same wide array of attachments that skid steers in the same class size utilize – from pallet forks, brooms and blades to snowplows, pushers, blowers and more. The 388B is powered by a 94 hp Perkins engine and third-valve auxiliary hydraulics come standard.

Proven Globally, Supported Locally

The design and construction of all machines offered by LiuGong NA have been put to the test in the most extreme conditions around the world and are especially well suited to the North American market.

LiuGong machines are built using some of the world’s greatest componentry companies, including Kawasaki, Rexroth, and Yanmar. And LiuGong joint ventures with Cummins and ZF mean LiuGong product lines not only perform reliably and productively but are easy to service and maintain, minimizing downtime and extending longevity in the field.

Depending on equipment type, value-adding features such as auto lube, radial tires, quick hitch, air seat, and air conditioning – things many other brands charge extra for – come standard on LiuGong machines. All machines are backed by LiuGong NA’s warranty, one of the best in the industry.

Combined with a low cost of operation and low cost of ownership, LiuGong NA product lines represent outstanding value to North American equipment owners.
