Services connect global buyers and sellers.
MILWAUKEE (July 14, 2016) – CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2017 has been named to the U.S. government’s ‘International Buyer Program’ (IBP) in recognition of the show’s global scope and reputation as a leading worldwide event.
The IBP works to increase international attendance at U.S.-based exhibitions and create global business opportunities for show exhibitors. A select number of U.S. trade shows each year receive the IBP designation from the U.S. Department of Commerce after a rigorous selection process.
“CONEXPO-CON/AGG is honored to have again attained this prestigious status that underscores our value and the continued importance of the construction industries in world trade, with 24 percent of attendees at the last show from outside the U.S.,” stated Rich Goldsbury, CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2017 chair and president of Bobcat Company and Doosan.
CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2017 will be held March 7-11, 2017 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. The co-located IFPE exhibition will also offer IBP services and benefits.
Under the IBP, the U.S. government will assist show promotion through its worldwide network of embassies and consulates as well as recruit official trade delegations to attend.
Exhibitors can take advantage of practical, hands-on business assistance from the IBP, including export counseling and market analysis. A “matchmaking” service will bring together international buyers with exhibitors interested in expanding their export business.
