December 1, 2015 – COMMERCE CITY, Colo. – Atlas Copco Construction Equipment launched its redesigned road construction equipment website, Dynapac.com. The new site gives contractors and dealers an easily navigable, one-stop source for information and support for its complete line of compaction and paving equipment. In addition to browsing product information, visitors can complete a wide range of tasks, from finding used equipment and training materials to ordering brochures, manuals and parts.
“We’re committed to supporting our dealer network and their customers,” said Brian Bieller, Atlas Copco vice president and business line manager, Road Construction Equipment. “Our new website furthers that focus by providing customers with information and specifications on products along with sound application advice. And all of that support is at their fingertips 24 hours a day.”
They can also use Shop Online to look up product information and manuals. For instance, users can find Atlas Copco’s roller manuals, which give users a wide range of resources in one easy-to-navigate location. This includes instructions on best safety practices, equipment operation and maintenance, engine servicing, parts and service kits, as well as environmental documents.
In addition to electronic versions of the manuals, Atlas Copco offers them in new eco-friendly waterproof pockets rather than binders. The pockets hold all documents in one convenient location while keeping the contents safe from the elements. Each new roller comes with the new manuals.
The website also makes it easy for visitors to learn more about Atlas Copco products and support. For instance, contractors and dealers can view the latest equipment, find parts and service kit information and watch product videos as well as compare different models based on a variety of criteria, such as paving width and hopper capacity. Users also can stay informed on the latest company news and product releases as well as access Atlas Copco’s BUILD Magazine. The publication highlights a wide range of topics, such as new products, industry trends and projects from around the world that feature Atlas Copco equipment.
Contractors can use information on the website for teaching the best practices and intricacies involved in building or maintaining local infrastructure to employees who are new to the industry. The site gives visitors a basic understanding of asphalt paving and milling as well as soil compaction, and it explains the general requirements for building airfields, canals, dams, foundations, highways and railroads.
Dealers and contractors also can access a variety of marketing information on the redesigned website. For instance, dealers can login to view, download or order printed sales materials and technical documentation, including product brochures and catalogs. And contractors can view and download brochures for Atlas Copco’s entire breadth of products, including air compressors and handheld tools.
The site also provides dealers with a list of items to support their operations. For example, they can order promotional items, such as branded clothing, to use at tradeshows or as incentives for sales staff.
“Overall, the new website further demonstrates our commitment to ensure that the Dynapac line is a comprehensive and well-supported line and that Atlas Copco is solidly invested in the road construction industry,” Bieller said.
