DICA Sponsors Crane Operator Championship

Oct. 13, 2015 (Guthrie Center, Iowa) DICA Outrigger Pads congratulates Kenneth Bowyer of All Crane Rental, who was named the Champion Crane Operator at a competition held last month at the International Construction & Utility Expo in Louisville, Ky.

While Bowyer did all the hard work of displaying load handling precision and accuracy under the pressure of a stop watch,

As the official Outrigger Pad Sponsor for the Crane Operator & Rigger Championship, DICA provided (4) SafetyTech DR42-2, 42” round outrigger pads, under the Altec AC45-127S boom truck used for the competition. The DICA DR42-2 Heavy Duty SafetyTech outrigger pads are 42 in. diameter and 2 in. thick. They have a maximum crush rating of 500 psi, and a rated capacity of 175,000 lbs. Patented recessed TuffGrip handles allow the round SafetyTech pads to easily be rolled into position with significantly less effort and minimized risk of injury to operators.
